Sacraments 

To register your child for Baptism, please reach out to the parish office to schedule a baptismal preparation meeting with the pastor. Please take the time to read the attached documents. More information will be sent once a date is scheduled.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is received prior to First Communion in second grade. If your child is in second grade, please go to the religious education tab and register for classes. If the person receiving first reconciliation is older, please call the parish office.

At St. Luke Parish we require our first communicants to complete preparation though our religious education program. First Communion is a 2 year program that begins in 1st grade. If your child is in 1st grade, please go to the religious education tab and sign up for religious education courses. If the first communicant is older, please call the parish office.

Confirmation candidates are required to complete a two year preparation course starting in 7th grade and finally getting confirmed in 8th grade. If your child is in this age bracket please go to the Religious education tab and register for classes. If the confirmations candidate is not within that age bracket please call the parish office for more information.

To plan your upcoming wedding, please contact St. Luke Parish office at least 6 months in advance of the date. A meeting will be scheduled with the priest. More information is to follow after contacting the parish office.

To receive Anointing of the Sick at St. Luke Parish, please find the priest at the end of Mass. If this is an emergency, please contact Fr. Mike Pennock at 815-693-9193. If you have any questions, please reach out to the parish office.

Once you have selected a funeral home to work with, the funeral director will contact the parish office to make arrangements for the Mass. Once arrangements have been made, the parish office will be in contact with the family to finalize any decisions.
